Hi, Delaware! My name is Jennifer and I am the face behind For Heaven’s Cake! It all began when I had my first child 18 years ago and attempted to make her first birthday and smash cake. To say it was a disaster is an understatement! After taking a class on basic cake decorating skills and watching many, many Reality cake decorating TV shows and Youtube tutorials, I began honing my skills and have become a bona fide business.

For Heaven's Cake was born 10 years ago in North Carolina and two years ago started all over when my husband and I moved our family of five to Delaware for my husband's job. Y’all have welcomed me with open arms and I absolutely love the Middletown, Odessa, and Townsend Delaware area. We are here to stay! Although I am a home-based, licensed cake business that does not mean I lack in quality. All of my cakes are made from scratch in a completely separate (pet-free) kitchen from the home's regular kitchen in a fully decked-out basement kitchen and design space. So although you will be greeted at the door by my barking dog, rest assured your cakes are baked, decorated, refrigerated, and boxed in a pet-free area.

Not to brag but I have been told I have the moistest, most delicious, and decadent cakes and buttercream in the MOT area. They not only look good, but more importantly, they actually taste good too! I try to use as little fondant as possible so my cakes are smoothed American Buttercream. The only fondant is used on decorative accents. Because I also work a regular full-time job, I only take on three orders per week. So if you are in need of a cake, do not delay in inquiring and locking in your date.
